    DBW vs DBC pcm programing

    Hello,

What are the differences in a Drive By Wire PCM and A Drive By Cable {software wise}? (

I have been told the DBW is only missing drivers for the IAC? If so could the pcm be converted to DBC?

I have also been told my 4.3l PCM can be flashed to work with my 6.0L?
    note:
The 6.0l has already been converted to DBC.

What is the service number from the 4.3L pcm? If it matches up, then just get the pcm flashed for a 6.0L setup and the correct trans cal.

Software wise, it depends on the vin, but to ensure you have compatible hardware and software, I'd use the correct service number.

i was told you are not able to just flash a v6 ecm with a v8 tune from the guys at hp tuners. it might have just been my case but, i would ask there support before spending money on credits. oh are you doing this yourself or someone else doing it?

Would I be able to convert the 6.0l pcm to Drive by Cable? I believe it was pulled from a 2004 Escalade.

I'm not familiar with those service numbers, you might want to pick up a 411.

I have purchased a 0411 pcm, so what do I do from here? Should I just tune with the current config? Should I flash the pcm with a file from a 6.0l? If I should flash what about me having a 4l60e tranny?
