    Denton times...

    Well guys--even though it was fvckin 100 degrees on Sunday when we were running, I finally got to run the GQ and see what she would do in the 1/8 mile... My best run (after Virgil fine tuned my truck on HPT) was 9.68 with a 2.231 60' time. HORRIBLE. It feels waaaay stronger than that. It just gives me more motivation to get my Stage 2.5 TSP heads and a nice 125 shot...

    Good times out there fellas! Garrisson, you need to stop drinking so much... hehehe Greg's truck is just downright FAST. Even Clifford got to make a few heads turn! But bow down to Dale's truck--even at 200K miles, it STILL runs a 9.2 in the 1/8th! Unreal for a stock block 5.3L that pulls a trailer day in-day out and takes a beating every weekend at the track!

    as in sanger/denton? the one off of 35?

    Yep the track in Denton...Northstar Dragway...it was a free day of racing..had tons of fun got to hang out with all the friends and run some good times....way to go Tyler!!!

    he barely beat me....i was driving it for Pat..he blew his knee out and his mrs. just had surgery

    Escalade doesn't play nice. Dale gets out quick!, then the bigger cubes of the caddy kick in. That sucks to hear about Pat, I've had 3 knee surgery's myself. I don't envy the rehab he has ahead of him.
