99 5.3 vs 00-04 5.3

I was wondering what I would need to change in my 99 5.3 in order to get the so called new horsepower that the 00-04 5.3 have. I know that the 00-03 got 285 hp and the 04 i believe have 295. What is the difference is it just computer tuning or is it something in the internals of the engine. I know GM is bad to underate their motors in the first place so did they just change the numbers and keep everything the same.

Bigger injectors too. 19lds vs. 24lds I think. I believe the 04's are the same, just a little more tuning.

Where can you get the bigger injectors and how much do they cost?

http://www.jegs.com has lots of them. 24lds are $230.00. Look under fuel & induction. But if you look in the for sale sections on a few sites you can usually find someone trying to lose a set.
