Ditch the handheld and get a Nelson Performance tune. Some Long tube headers. 4.10 gears. and a decent cam with a 3000 stall. youll be happy for at least a little while with that setup.

Nelson Performance - Performance without Sacrificing Drivability get a mail order tune to start. then mod after. Retunes are free.

ya i started that way too .get some pacesetter longtubes ,a 26-28 stall converter ,some 410 in the rear, definately get the trany beefed up with ,servos ,shift kit.oh ya a descent cam ,and when you do think about youre supporting mods and future supporting mods to match up to the cam.diff mods call for diff cam specs.let us know if you need any help ,everyone on here is very helpfull ,and you cant have a problem we havent had.lol
