Im using some e-fans from an ls1 camaro with the nelson performance harness. Trick performance products which is a sponsor on here makes a real sick setup that looks awesome

i have a 99 and i went with the ls1 fans like ducky did with the nelson harness, cheapest and easiest setup ive seen, i love the way they operate. Im just gonna up my alternator to the 145 because ive noticed sometimes at a stop light with the A/C on full blast and the stereo on it dips to like 12.8v so, no biggie but thats alot of strain on the battery. I spent a total of 200 on my setup, bolted it to the existing fan holes using the existing fan hardware, they work great, they are pretty quiet too.

This is what I have and it is super simple. Hook up power and ground and 1 ac wire and thats it. It works really well. My ac blows colder than it ever has and I have tested the crap out of it. I let my truck run for several hours while dragging logs around with not even a hint of over heating. No excess wires relays etc etc.

i got my ls1 fans off of a 2001 camaro SS, they were 100 with shipping off of ebay, the nelson harness was like 100 with shipping. and then you have to get ur pcm programmed so that the pcm can control the fans. i like it. i havent seen any mpg gain or loss, because the motor seems to rev up a lot faster so i cant keep my foot out of it. On a good day in the city i saw like 2mpg more but other than that hwy im still around 19/17.5 and city seeing 10 to 14 so it just depends how much you want to spend and how you want them to work really. i have pictures if you want to see how they bolted up

I put my fans in during the swap from 5.3 to 6 so I could not tell. Milage is suppose to be from 0.5 mpg to 3 mpg better. I can't tell.
