So I've installed the new pcm but I have had to do the start relearn 4 times now. I dunno if anyone else has had this problem. But I wanted to start this post for reference in case anyone else has the problem. Just wonderin what would cause this problem?
Do I need to send it back?
It started right up when I got it but now I keep doing the relearn.

    Thanks,
    Ron

Thanks for the link 01Thunder but no help for me there.
The problem isn't that I need to do the relearn to get the truck to start, its that I've done the passkey relearn 7 times and counting now. Went out to dinner, and I went through the whole procedure 2 times before i could leave.
I think maybe cuz the sevice numbers are different. I needed a 4896 and he sent me a 0411. I mean, it starts after the passkey relearn about ten times in a row and the programming kicks azz but after a while I get in to start it and have to do passkey again. Great tune but odd that i have had to do the relearn so many times.

Hey Guys, sorry for the delay, long ass day, lol, just got in.

Disconnect your battery for about 10mins, and try the relearn one more time.
The 411 is usually compatible with the 896, but it wouldn't surprise me if it isn't, for some odd reason.

Give me a call tomorrow if you want, if that doesn't work, and I'll get a 4896 out.

    thanks,

    allen
