    what heads to put on my 5.3

    i want to put some diff heads on the truck what should i go with , it has 706 heads on it what is the cc size on these , i would like to raise the cp a little , i have a set of patriot stage2 lq9 heads but they are 72cc could i send them in and get them welided up to a smaller cc or would that be exspensive help me out guy

    damn tempted to ask if you would wanna trade lol i have a set of patroit stage 2 706 5.3 heads polished and ported, running them on my 6.0 pushed the cr way up there which i like... my 706s would work damn good on your 5.3 and if you wanted more compression just have them milled a little

    they dont have a # on them patriot removes it i guess

    243's are (LS6) 5.7L heads. He prolly has 035s since they are from a LQ9. Either way, contact Richard @ WCCH and see if he can do some calculations for you on how far you would need to have them milled to achieve a good CR on the 5.3L.
