    Angry A Little Help Please!!!

    Has anyone used a Diablo Predator tuner on their truck? If so is there any possiblity that maybe you could help me out here on what to set some of these setting to? I set it up on the 93 tune and slightly changed some settings but for some reason its seems to have made my truck bog down full throttle on take off and honestly I think Im making less power than before the tuner was installed! This tuner was the worst investment Ive ever made!!!

    Go here Nelson Performance - Performance without Sacrificing Drivability set up either a Mail order tune or make a trip and get a live custom tune... Free retunes for when you get upgrades on your truck like headers, intake, servo's ect... Most see about a full second off the 1/4 mile. the only other way I know of to get a full second off the 1/4 mile is a 100shot of nitrous. I love my tune. Oh and sell the programmer... its worthless

    yeah thats pretty much the general answer Im getting on both of the forums I posted that on. Thanks for the advice. Where exactly is Nelson Performance located?

    Cool, Once I move home I will be living about 3 1/2 hours from there I may make the trip! I adjusted the injector slope a little and the shifting of the tranny with that predator and test drove it. Its better but not what I expected. All real time readings seem about the same as before the tune!

    Have you removed the torque managment from your trans...if not that is probably why your truck bogs at wot from a stop

    I turned the first two tqm settings off I was advised to leave the upshift tqm protection on!

    Ok--I know exactly what to do:
    1. Get your foot out of your ass
    2. Take Diablo programmer and throw it into the middle of the highway and watch it get obliterated. (No--really...do it. )
    3. Laugh at cars and trucks running over programmer in the middle of road.
    4. Quick--RUN! The damn Cops spotted you!
    5. Get a custom tune.

    SEE??? Wasn't that easy?

    But seriously--go ahead and turn the programmer back to stock and sell it on Craigslist or Ebay. Use the equity $$$ you get from it to help pay for the custom tune.

    come on there not the best or as good as a real tune but some people get some power out of them try adding a little bit of timing up i belive it th 4 to 7 setting and watch to make sure u dont ad to much watch for kr in the real time data screen and when you have the time and money follow what everyone else says not everyone gets it right the first time i know i didnt and if my truck didnt need a crank and security relearn and the stealership didnt want to a$$ rape for 200 bucks to do it i would get a real tune to
