I'm also adding all updates to a doc for my truck page i hope to complete someday , for now i'll post here.

I've decided to make my headers out of 18gauge mild steel instead of stainless steel. This will keep the cost down considerably!!
I'm buying my bends from this place http://www.ssheaders.com/JBends.htm i'll be getting the box of misc bends. That should get me off to a good start.
I also like the slip on header collectors. I'll probably end up getting those as well.

Once the headers are completely built i'll get them coated, which is think might be better than stainless anyway. This is the coating i like.
http://www.hpcoatings.com/exhaust_coatings.htm there's statement in there somewhere on how it dropped underhood temps 45deg.

So, that's all i have so far, i'm still trying to get my ac going, which just got delayed becuase of the shaft incident,

    Update #2:

I added up all the parts for the headers, they consist of
flanges, straight tubing, misc bends, collectors, bolts, that added up to under 200$, yaaaa
the coating will 220$, unless i can send them 3 sets, hint hint, i'll get 20% off.

So, for those of you wanting to know, i'm going to be able to build my headers for under 400$, that's deal.!!!!!!

    see ya online,

    allen

I like coating better. You can touch coated headers when they are hot but not SS!
