    My next project

    Texas Speed LS7 Short-block, forged crank, forged -3.8cc pistons
    Ported LS7 Heads
    Crane Cams 1449611 236 int./240 exh. , 0.630 int./0.630 exh. lift w/ 1.8:1 rockers
    Shaft mounted 1.8:1 rocker arms
    Head stud kit
    25% underdrive pulley/balancer
    62lbs/hr injectors
    LS7 intake w/ 90mm TB

    Going for a wild N/A set-up... lookin for 650RWHP.

    That will be a beast! Id like to see that thing run! What are you going to do for the dry-sump oil? We thought about putting an LS7 into my brothers RX7 but decided on a H/C/N20 LS1 because of the dry sump problem, and the systems they do have are high dollar! Good luck with your project...you definitly have more room than an RX7 and that thing will scream!

    Well,the block from Texas Speed is going to allow me to run a wet sump system I think. If not, it's a $245 adder to upgrade to the LSX block and run whatever system I want.

    Sounds like a great set up. Keep us posted with pics and what not.

    I would stick with the dry sump--because that is how the LS7 was designed.

    Well, I've moved to an LSX block at this point anyway. I can save right at $1,000 if I build the short block myself starting with a brand new LSX block at4.125" bore... 427 here I come!
