    Nelson Tune Question...Crank Relearn

Well, I got my modules back from Nelson. I know they are the same modules, because I marked them. I put them in today and I had to do the security re-learn again, which wasn't a huge surprise, but I thought that was a one-time deal? Well, again, after one re-try, it started up, then died, then restarted and ran fine....BUT, the damn SES light is on again!!! Apparently I need to do the Crank Relearn again??!!! I thought this was a once-per-module deal???

Does anybody have any insight as to why I would need to do a Crank Relearn again? When I put the stock modules back in when I sent my tuned ones to Nelson, I didn't have to do a thing. No Security relearn and no SES light.

Allen or Melissa, if you read this please give me a call. I will also try calling you guys tomorrow.

They aren't always predictable. Mine does the same thing sometimes.

Find someone with HP Tuners, or slip a shop guy $20.

i have hp tuners, i still had to go to the stealership when i was stupid and decided to flash a tune from the repository onto my truck, even when i flashed my stock tune back the SES light never went away, till i went and payed the stealership their 100 bucks for 5 minutes of work, and letting them take my TBSS out for a joyride, a$$holes, i know they beat on it because my instant mileage went from 15.5 when i turned it off to 14 when i got back in.

Yep, talked to Melissa today. Looks like my best bet is to just get HP Tuners so I can get tune updates via e-mail, do my own crank relearns and learn how to tune too.

Now I just have to find an extra $1000 lying around (need a laptop too).

    I'm accepting donations.
