I was coming home today from Joe's trans shop, i like to hang out there to bullshits sometimes, and i was about 10 miles from home and KABOOOOOOMMM!! My heart just about stopped, (keep in mind this all happened in a split second) I heard the loud noise and I looked around and then in my rear view mirror. Guess what i saw, my freaking driveshaft LOL!! It was 20 feet in the air and luckily landed in the grass.
I have to admit, I was getting on it and all those take-offs and launches at the track finally had it's toll on the poor little v6 driveshaft, hahaha.
Damage was minimal, even at 85mph!, it bent up my mufflers and scared the under carriage, no biggy though.
There's only one bad side to having an LS1, you'll definitely start breaking things. :frown:
Well, my father in law came and picked me up and i finally got home.
I measured the length of the new shaft, so i'll have one made up tomorrow, it will take about two days. I guess I'm driving the motorcycle the rest of the week.
