Cut-Outs Worth it? I heard no!

Ok so i talked to the guy that welded up my exhaust and made my hangers for me and i asked him about making me some cut-outs! He said they would slow me down at the track! He said he did it on this guy's camaro and he ran 0.2 slower with the cut outs open! I really want to do them but this kinda changed my mind! I have long tube headers and no cats so i think its perfect! He said that my exhaust is already free flowing enough and it won't make a difference! I see what he is saying but just want some more advice on the subject (cut-outs or no cut-outs) Thanks

Cut outs are so you can make noise when you want to and have a quiet exhaust when you don't.

dont do it they often leak once carbon builds up in the seal. BTW nice lookin truck i think they should have made an SS in a regular cab as well

just a couple of tenths. nothing special. but everything helps, and it scares people and sounds badass
