    GM Efan Harness Q (sorry)

I've searched over 100 threads, couldn't quite get the answer.

05 GM factory Efans & harness(got it with the fans), 00 silvy pcm programmed by Nelson.

I already have green wire to pin #42 on the blue plug, and was sure that the light blue wire went in pin #33 on the red pcm plug(green on 05 pcm). There is already a dark green wire into that pin, and I just need to know what to do with my blue wire.

I'm just worried because I read that the 00 pcm's use different pins but I don't think they do. Do I tap into the existing wire, or ground the blue wire, and I have the right pin, correct?, etc, etc.

    TIA.

Yeah? Haven't heard that, appreciate the reply.
#16 on the red or blue plug?

I don't remember which connector it is , the computer I have that data on is down right now , but I think if you do a search on LS2.com they have a PCM pin out there that shows the correct connector and pin assignments .
    I think Red though .
Here you go , found it ! :LS2 Forums - Torques, PCM, DTC, General Information

I have that page saved on my favorites lol, I've been looking. I appreciate the help though, those pages are good info.

That page shows, however, exactly what confuses me. It shows that pin #33 on Red is the fan relay control #2 and 3 for an 00 pcm. it also shows a dark blue wire, while mine has a dark green.

It just says pin #16 is not used.

This is getting the best of me.

Sorry , dawned on me older PCM used the pin #16 for fans .
Don't quote me on this but , I seem to remember that the wire in question (dark green) is just used for something inside the truck and does not hurt to remove (auto recirculating) and use for fans , but I will try and find that and make sure .
I think it is on EFILive Forum - Powered by vBulletin and do search for electric fans , there someone ask about the same thing or that wire was explained .
I do know in the PCM under "A/C Auto Recirculation" that one is labeled as a "Auto Recirculation" and has to be set to "Fan #2 Control" , but that is in EFILive and I don't know if HPTuners can do that yet .
With EFILive , you can toggle the fans inputs on and off with the software and be able to test with out harm , but don't know about HPTuners ?
