nelson tune....
well i got my mail order tune in from nelson today....great service and fast shipping!! install went really easy and started right up....seems to drive good...better than stock but not termendous like i thought but i know it takes time to learn so im sure it will live of the the reputation of the nelson tune... only flaws is traction conrtol light says on and wont turn off. how should i drive it within the next week easy on it? or hard on it? +1 for another happy nelson customer!!!!

as hard as you want. wont hurt nothing at all. It took mine time to learn like you said. but shoot I live 30 min from the guy and I got a mail order tune too and im real happy with it..

Yeah man, you are gunna love it. Like David said--drive it however you usually do. Your truck is broken in, so the comuter needs to "learn" its new ways of thinking... Drive it easy or hammer the dog crap out of it...doesn't matter!

pu it through the paces, drive normal, slow fast, that way it learns.
bro once you get those headers you'll feel the difference... did you get the performance tune? if so then save for headers cause you'll need them, engines gotta breath and the stock manifolds just aint letting it happen

ya i got the performance tune 93 oct.....awesome thing is the way i usually drive is with cut out open and pretty hard on it so have some fun... well i was getting around 14.4mpg before the tune and i drove 168 miles on the tune tonight with cut out open and ahammering the **** out of it and racing people lol it was fun and a lot faster!! but cool thing is i got 17.7 mpg crazy!! so then me and a friend decide to drive to houston round trip 60 miles....crusing at 65 with cut out closed just maganaflow i got 21pmg i love it lol...sorry for the long post just really happy with my mpg now!

dude give it about a week and your gonna steadily notice an increase what i did was keep racing the same guy i just kept getting faster, i'd say you'll be reall happy in a week the day i put mine in i raced my buddies SS and outran him by 3/4 a truck a week later and still i get him by a length and a half.
and shaved 6 tenths off my quarter
