    New Best.

Went to Ennis this Saturday to get a few runs in on my 08 Titan. I was so close to a 14 sec timeslip but it just wasn't meant to be. My 60' times are killing me. Well that and I drive a crew cab. Next time I'll leave the step bars, tow hitch, spare, and tailgate at home in the garage. Weighed in at 5120 with a 1/4 tank, no tailgate or spare.

your 60 foot wasnt THAT bad... it is your top end. I ran a (75shot) 15.3 @ 94mph with a 10.1 or so 1/8th mile. Ide think maybe its the gearing, or maybe engine is not making good power at the top end. That is a very respectable time for a pretty much stock crewcab. Nissan is another company that, like chevy, should have made a smaller truck with a bigger motor. At least your driving a truck... even though its a ric truck... j/k... seriously....j/k..... for real though.... j/k.... or am I?

I expected a crewcab to be a lot heavier than 5100 lbs... but I'm probably thinking of one of those maxicab things with 4wd.

put ur tailgate on, its beneficial to ur aerodynamics and could actually help ur times(highly unlikely). pretty impressive for a stock CC.

If I had uprev I would likely be in the high 13's. Uprev can remove the drive by wire restriction (no WOT until 38mph) and they do wonders for our trucks. Look at an uprev tuned trucks timeslips and you can see that they are moving. In fact, this is me running a friends 07 crew cab with ****ty flowmasters mufflers and a S&B intake with Uprev and drag radials. He weighed in at 5150 with the spare in place but no tailgate. My 60' time sucked, i stalled at 2k and the "Slip" light came on and I knew it was over. I had a sweet R/T that run, it was my last run and last chance at a 14 sec timeslip that day. I think I'll have it this Friday if I can make it out there.
