    traction controll issues

    hey guys i have an escalade and im having issues with the traction control ,no bigge but i want too nip it .ive noticed that sometimes randomely the t/c keeps activating .yesterday ,my wife said that she was going up a hill and for some reason the t/c kicked in ,now i know she babies the esky,so it wasnt bcause of her getting on it ,cause it has happened to me .does anyone know y this may be randomely happening.?and is there a test or something i can doOR CHECK. .its the dash indicator that keeps kicking in .TRACTION CONTROL ACTIVATED.THANKS AHEAD GUYS.
    mods:2004 sierra ext sb,20s ,big brake kit w,hawk pads,air bagged,2006 6.0 lq4 swap,vortec supercharged10psi, air to water intercooled w/ dual electric fans on it ,snow meth injection kit,60lbers, e-fans ,big radiator swap ,cam 218 /222 548/550 comp .hardened prs .1.85 comp roller rockers ,guideplates ,crane double springs,trans 4l65e built .pacesetter l/ts true duals w/x pipe and magnaflows,14 bolt rearend swap ,3.73s,aroemotive fuel pump system w/elec.fuel controller and bypass regulator a/n fittings, taylor 10.5s interceptor gauge,aem w/b a/f ,autometer boost/vac NELSON 93 OCTANE TUNED .

    it should kit in any time that it senses slippage.

    correct but thats the problem ,its kicking in when its not slipping.

    The Stabilitrac system is very sensitive. It may be sensing slippage and you not even know it is slipping. Wait for your snowy, icy weather to go away. If it continues its annoying actions, take it to the dealer. I do not know of any simple "door check" you can to to test the Stabilitrac system... I am sure the dealer has to hook up their compters and run a program on it.
