i am new to engine building. i just got my ls1 heads and want to know what springs to get. im on a budget. sdpc has some good springs, but i dont know what to get. i want to raise my rev limiter to take advantage of my cam so i need springs that will allow that. the cam is a 216/220 525 532. so its not too much lift or duration. nothing crazy. will the sdpc pro beehive ls1 valve springs do alright. i dont know what the 318 lb open 130 lb on the seat means

i guess the longer exhaust duration would help build cylinder pressure...

you should check out the prc dual springs they will last forever they can handle 660 lift so theyll take a beatin, or maybe the compcams beehive springs they are really good springs also.
i went with the yellow ls2 springs

yeah, the cam is in, the studs are in, now im installing the springs and pushrods, then put the 853 heads on and start reassembling stuff.
