    Camshaft suggestion

    i got a 2005 rcsb 4.8l and want to buy a cam. i need a list of what i need for it and what specs to get on the cam like the lift and what not. im gonna buy one and put it in the winter. and could i get a price on how much this is all gonna cost
    i would appriciate it alot.

    Since you are running a 4.8L RC, a cam you should consider is something in the neighborhood of a 220/220 .551/.551 112 LSA to a 224/224 .581/.581 114 LSA. There are several different cam sizes within that range, so it is important to match your cam specs to you current mods, plus the ones you have planned. Make sure to get some valve springs and some pushords to compliment the higher cam lift numbers--your stock components can handle it. Do you have the 4L60e? Or the NV3500 5-speed? If you have he auto, make sure to match up a 3000-3400 stall TC. A TC is crucial to make good use of the new powerband parameters...
