finally decided what to do about the suburban

well, after a ton of researching and listening to everyone on heretell me my sub is too heavy. the wife and i have decided to trade it in. see, a few eeks ago i saw a little mini van on the side of the road for sale, and it was a great deal so i bought it for my wife. but it turns out mini vans are like the most useful vehicle ever made. i hate them. but they are great. and now the g35 sits in the garage under a car cover, all the time. we are making payments on it and not using it. and the sub is a gas hog. i drive it for work while the silvy's getting a new tranny and it goes 4 days on a tank but a tank is almost 100 dollars.
to make a long story short and ask my question, were are trading in both the g35 and the sub on a 08 TBSS, black of course as all my vehicles will always be black except my silvy. but i have a whole huge plan for her.
my question is will my old maggie fit the ls2 6.0. it says it fits 4.8, 5.3, 6.0. but does that include the ls2. i don't see why not.

It is a shame that you have done so much work to the Sub and now you are trading it in... Do you have all of the stock parts? If you do--turn that Sub back to stock as possible because you will not recoop any of the mods when you trade it in... Then you can sell all of you parts from the sub to help pay for the TBSS mods... I am almost positive that the Maggie will not fit on the TBSS. It is really tight under the hood of those things... PM Sprayed99 and ask him about TBSS stuff...He just got one and is already modding the crap out of it.

yeah i already got it back too stock, except the trans ans rear of course, it actually runs very strong , surprised me. well, i ordered my SS Saturday, 08 3ss with nav, dvd, 2wd, the silvy is 4wd if i need that. and i have been researching, SLP has a 440hp package out. i want that immediately. just stock those things will smoke my g35, what will a 440hp TBSS do. damn, i can't wait. only thing is i have read a ton of bad stuff about the trans, but its a 4l70e, it should be stronger than ours, but I'm gonna switch too synthetic immediately and up the line pressure.

even the v6 tb is pretty peppy,

the guy at the dealer ship said the tbss has the second most hp out of a stock gm vehicle now, first being the corvette.

if u really wanna get technical the ls3 6.3 produces more HP too at 436 but i mean what can u expect coming from a non-informed dealership worker. i have been spit some pretty dumb lines from dealerships and they all make me laugh cuz im like how could these people sell cars when they dont even know what they are selling!? btw the vette ls2 makes 10 more hp due to intake and exhaust than the tbss.

F-ing sweet ass! You'll definitely love that TBSS. As usual, the tranny is the weak point, but the rear end is solid. It has the 9.5 inch heavy duty rear Eaton unit with 4.10s--no need to change that out. Since you have the longer factory GM warranty, just let the tranny do it's thing until it takes a crap on you and have it built. I know a couple guys who had their tranny go out after 25000 miles or so and they used the warranty--but paid slightly extra to put in stronger componets... $2800 is pretty steep for what you get from SLP... You can do alot more to that for $2800--get exhaust, CAI, LT headers, electric fans, ADM tune, etc... Log on to tx-ss.com. There are a bunch of extremely knowledgable guys on there who know a lot about TBSS stuff...

yeah, i told my wife my plan about the SLP and she blew up. she told me no. haha. that sucks getting shut down by your wife. hehe. well she's been pretty cool about everything else. like letting mew get a procharger only about a week after getting my silvy. so i might mod it a little slower. i should be happy with the performance for awhile.
