    paxton superchrger? wow

    well heres the cenerio ,i blew up my vortec s/c ,i guess 12 lbs of boost is 2 much for it ,took out the impeller shaft.so wile it getting fixed i decided id buy a older paxton nov 2000 too try wile the others out,its noisy but let me tell you wow does it put out some horse.almost instant power.when i hit it it laid a patch close too at least 200 ft long through every gear posi.i mean wow no slag or nothing,i thought it would be similar to my vortec,spool up then take off like a jet ,but not the case.it isnt eveen pushing the same boost ,less.any one have any exp with any of these chargers ,there noisy but i think i can put up with the noise till the other is fixed.just wondering ,any exp guys ,id like too know the diff.thanks

    I have heard that they are very good and waaaaayyy better than a vortec.
    99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.

    ya i drove it all day today and its just that the throttle is soo much crisper ,snappier .lol.comes in much sooner wonder y?hum .it is noisy wistling sob.

    it has the same if not better response as my vortec with 12psi.this is only 8 psi ,was yours a wistling noisy sob?

    my procharger whistles ALOT. and my brother in law has a paxton novi on his GT and it whistles alot too, i just thought all centrifugal superchargers did.
    2008 Trailblazer SS LS2, K&N CAI, flowmaster 40 series, hp tuned
    2004 Trailblazer 4.2, K&N CAI, hp tuned
    2002 Camaro Z28 5.7 ls1, lid, slp loudmouth, bbk longtube headers, ory, hp tuned, tr224 cam, ported 243 heads, moser 12 bolt w/ 3.73's and full spool, and a 100 shot just in case. 463whp, 458 wtq 11.32@ 120 1.52 60' on motor no spray times yet
