i saw the original video that came from, its a ford made thing showing how much better the ford trucks are then anything else.
imho the tundra isnt a bad truck at all for what people here do with trucks, but i wouldnt be buying one to work on a cement farm.
that flex may actually help with traction on a launch situation, not sure.

Hello, My nephew pulled over to check on a broken down TUMDRA on the side of the road. It was after a long stretch of rough evenly spaced bumps on the highway. The TUMDRA frame was broken and was sitting there in a V shape it --- had a full load in the box. He talked to the driver, It was a new Druck, the owner said he didn't believe it would carry that much weight but the dealership said it would handle it. guess the driver was right! I don't know how much weight he had, but it was too much.
Should of named them new Drucks TUMYDRAG.

in defense of the tundra- despite the fact i would never buy anything but a chevy.
the truck may not be built for hauling heavy loads but it seems to me that toyota has made a truck that suits the needs of truck enthusiasts here much better than chevy has.
the toyota cant haul as much and isnt nearly as durable as a chevy but its closer to a street truck then the chevy is.
the chevy is made for hauling heavy loads, drywall, bags of cement, trailors and whatever you can squeeze in them.
chevy needs to step up and come up with a nascar version street truck.
it would put the toyota sales way behind im sure. lots of people who dont really want to buy foreign have bent their ways to get the toyota truck because it just suits their needs better.
i dont ever see you guys talking about how many sheets of drywall or plywood your truck can haul, its all about hauling ass here, and it seems like the tundra is designed with that in mind.
its hard to even compare the tundra to a chevy truck, because the tundra is hardly even in the class of a truck, its closer to a suv then it is a truck.
My thoughts exactly.
