    very dissapointed

i read something very dissapointing, someone correct me if im wrong. Procharger says that their system is not compatible with flex fuel vehicles. I really want the charger, but does that mean that no charger works with my system. I will have to sell my truck if i cant even upgrade it anymore. Someone help me out here, there has to be some type of FI for my truck. damn flex fuel

I think what they are saying is you can't use e85 with the procharger. I know that Allen has installed FI on flexfuel trucks.

If you are FI you can't run anything less than 91 octane or you will ping. The charger will work, but you can only run premium fuel in the beast.

You can run a stock motor. The only thing that needs to be done is a retune. I would go with an inline fuel pump and maybe some heavier valve springs, but that should be the minimum. Also beef up the trans.

Hey not a problem! I bet there are tons of guys not buying one one for the same reason. You could run one with e85 but once tuned for it you would be stuck running it all the time. e85 is 100-105 octane. The nice thing about flexfuel trucks is they already come with bigger injectors and fuel pump. They might still be a bit on the small side for more than 5 psi. I think they are 35lb injectors.

Get the 42lb injectors. No need for a bigger fuel pump--it's already got it... You can FI a stock-bottom end LM7 reliably to about 8-9 psi without any issues.
