i'm about to buy a duramax and i only drive this truck on the weekends, so i'm selling it for a down payment.. the truck has been my dd for a little over a year, but since i've moved to wisconsin my new job gave me a company truck and i don't drive it anymore.

i did the '03-05 front end conversion with the sss grille, cowl hood, sss front bumper, color matched all the handles and the mirrors, smoked the tails, amber deleted the head lights, djm 2/4 drop, 20's, billet shorty antenna, dumped imco exhaust, nelson 93 octane hot tune, led's inside & out, dual aeroforce guages with color matched pod, and custom sss/cadillac escalade gauges.

there are just over 10k miles on the odometer and the truck for the most part is spotless. it's 2wd and has the 5.3l flex fuel. cloth interior, onstar, power windows & locks, tilt wheel, power seats, led signal mirrors and a tow hitch.

kelly blue book on this truck is as follows;

Excellent - $23,695, Good - $22,380, Fair - $20,620

I was wondering if you bought smooth handles and mirrors to color match everything, or did you paint over the original textured plastic. I'm looking to do this to my truck. Very sharp truck, btw.

i painted over the textured plastic.. it was cheaper than buying all of the parts seperately.

Dang dude--after making it all pretty, you wanna sell it? Damnit! Guys, I have personally seen this truck several times and it looks like a perfect 10! Even with all that he has done to it, $23k is a good price. I hope you sell it soon!

tyler, it's just not practical for the winters here in wisconsin as it was in texas.. as much as i'd like to keep it, i need something 4wd. so i've been contemplating an '08 duramax or an '08 vortec max. gas being like it is, it will most likely be the duramax. we'll see what happens though, because i've still got an itch to keep handing this mustang gt's ass every time i see him and this truck pulls very hard on him.
