    turbo 5.3/LS6 cam

Hey guys, we just finished a truck the other day, so I thought I would share some results. No hp numbers, just track numbers.
    '07 rcsb 4x4, 5.3, 4:10s
    What we did:
'02 LS6 cam, hardened push rods, Patriot springs, STS with t-67, 3400 triple disc Vigalante 9.5", wrapped the exhaust, our fmic, and we tuned it.
    Before times: after times:
    2.44 60ft 1.84 60ft
    6.82@53 330ft 5.32 @ 65 330ft
    10.40 @ 67 1/8th 8.21 @ 83 1/8th

    16mph and 2.2 second faster.
Truck drives perfect and is getting about a 1mpg better even driving it harder.
Heres the crazy thing. He is having severe traction issues. No chance of hooking in 2wd. 4w hi and auto leaves him fighting it back and forth.
IMO, if he can get the launch figured out and its a cool day and not 90*, he is in the 7's.

Alton, wait until you see what Dustin did with your gauges. Its bad ass.

Also, your 14 bolt does not have posi. It has 3:42s and the ring and pinion look fine. You just need some bearings, a carrier, and brakes.

    Thumbs up

How many pounds of boost? Still have cats?

Also, dump the G80 if it's still there... it's not much better than an open diff. Some trac bars, and launch in 4Hi should help it out.

Tell him to lower the torsion bars and it will hook 10 times better, I had the same problem with my old cammed 5.3 with nitrous and my old 418 N/A. Also taking the 2" lift blocks out of the rear will help also.
