1998 4.3 to GEN III 5.3 PLZ help

well if anyone has any helpful links on what is required to do this swap itd be greatly appreciated. Im thinking 03 and newer model silverado motor, i currently have a standard 1998 5 speed NGV3500 tranny i believe, its 2wd, standard cab,SB 4.3 liter V6. PLZ HELPPP i was going to swap a 5.7 vortec in but everyone on this site is ragging on me to go GEN III So Help Me Getter Done!

Check out the LS1 Conversion page for a pretty much step by step walk through on the conversion from V6 to Gen3 engine. I tried to detail as much as I could short of photographs along the way.
