wiring harness.

Just picked up my 01 5.3 wiring harness from a motor that had like 75k on it for like $250. Anything I need to look for to see if I would run into any problems after plugging it in? I dont really know what to look for other than cut wires, but I didnt really see any problems. My pops told before we start getting it, to spray it down with some contact cleaner and then after it dries up, but some dyelectric on it so I wont have connection problems. Any other advice on anything to look for or do to it?

Most connectors on the harness should be ok, just pay careful attention to the knock sensors. After 75K, you may want to take a close look at them. If they are not looking too good, but a new set and get the separate harness for the knock sensors. Besides that, I don&#39;t know of anything else that could cause a problem. Your dad&#39;s advice is spot-on with the contact cleaner and dielectric grease. It will keep everything clean and moisture-free.
