Did you experience any gains from the intake manifold?
2002 ECSB, Nelson Tune, LS1 electric fans, 145A alternator, K&N FIPK, 160º T-stat, TB coolant bypass, Corvette servo, 4 headlight mod, blue LED gauge cluster
It's hard to say, when I took it to the track, it was a horrible night..
no track prep.
the track timing was off, and there was a head wind of about 15-20MPH..
was running about .5 sec slow.
SOTP it feels better in the upper RPMS.

What do you mean when you say it takes a bit to get it started? You have to crank a lot, does it act flooded? Also, has the motor ever been sprayed? Is it burning or leaking the oil?
New project truck:
'00 ECSB 4wd, 5.3, 3" body lift, gap guards, 18x9 Moto Metal 951's, 305/60/18 Mickey Thompson MTZ's

The truck cranks right up. but the IAC needs to be adjusted again.. not much, for somebody that wants to just jump in it, and take off you can..
it just doesnt like to stay running after you crank it when the motor is up to Temperature. unless you press the gas, and hold it at about 1,000RPMS untill the PCM catches up.. once you do that, no problems. it idles fine.
Simple fix.. just need to adjust the IAC to get it smoothed out. I havnt had time to do it..
AS far as the oil goes.. It is burning it..
no oil leaks.
