    I have been tossing the idea around on swapping a 4.3 or a small GenIII v-8 into my jeep cherokee. The reason for doing this is because GM is so much stouter than a 4.0 jeep and the junky trans and trensfer case. I have the trans and transfer case lined up already. I just need the ponies. Would like to find a 4.8 or a 4.3. The only reason for the 4.3 is because the guys that swap the 4.3 out dont need the harness or computer any more. So aggie or ducky if you have your motors out let me know what it would take to take it off your hands $$$.

    i have a 4.3 you can have for $300 complete. needs a distributor and engine harness. other than that its perfect.

    Im in College Station, and I have a 2004 4.3 L V6. Has 48,000 on the clock. Modded TB. 03 PCM had 93 octane Nelson Tune. I have it 100% complete w/ harness and all accessories.

    Im asking 475$ It will be out in a month and I will include it on a stand

    Im getting a 6.0 thats why Im selling it haha

    Ask Ducky as well I dont know when he will put his in though, mabye sooner than mine lol. Give him a shout.

    But Im only 19

    I got Grey Goose and some Beer at tha casa haha..

    Mabye the same day the engine goes in we can do it or somethin....Just gotta make sure the 6 Liter will run perfect first haha..

    Yea if you didnt hear Im not getting that 6.0 anymore...So I may pick this 5.3 up tommarow or the next day if I can get a hold of it...Its an 01, got 53,000 miles complete w/o oilpan for 500$....Its gonna be shweet!!

    Good luck with it. Hate that its not a 6.0 but that5.3 will work great in your truck!!

    Mine wont be out until mid june ish. Mine has like 85k on the clicker and its kept up with extremely well. Ill post up the closer I get to taking it out.
