Well a couple months ago I bought an ls1 when my 5.3 went boom for reasons of my own fault. Well I have been trying to get it finished and finally had to send it to a friend. Well today I got the news the ls1 I bought had bad bearings. So now I dont have my truck and no motor isnt that great ?

So now I have a bigger plan since my ls1 is trash. I need help finding a complete ls6 yep thats right a complete ls6 with brackets and t56 trans and wiring harness. I'll be using the motor in my trukc and then rebuilding the ls1 and using the trans/brackets to put an ls1 into my 69 corvette. So am I crazy or what ?

Man that sucks, sorry to hear about your truck's engine, on the other hand that is going to be a hell of a z06 truck .

    there's a long block on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2451962605
It's not a complete engine but maybe you can get it cheap.

These are the P/N of the engine:

12498399.- GMPP, 5.7L 350ci V8 Gas Engine - 2001-2003 Corvette LS6 Service Engine with Corvette and Camaro oil pans. SBC crate engine.

    12578104.- GMPP, 5.7L 350ci V8 Gas Engine - 2004 Corvette LS6 405HP. SBC crate engine. Approximately 550 lbs. crated weight.

    Good luck with your project.
