    what do you guys think the gains would be if i bored it out
    from a 3.78 to a 4.0 and polished the heads and put in a cam??

    .220" overbore is HUGE. I don&#39;t think the block can be bored that much. Maybe with resleeving perhaps but that&#39;s &#036;&#036;&#036;....it&#39;d be cheaper to get a 6.0 for the 4" bore and it has more stroke than the 4.8

    Ported heads would kick ass along with a cam. You&#39;d be looking at least 60rwhp with a mild cam somethin a tad larger would get you closer to 80rwhp and also dependant on how far the heads are ported as well as what motor you choose for the base...
