For that much money I could swap in an LH6 with a 4L60E trans, and still have enough left over to do the body work that my truck so sorely needs.

&#036;12.5k on sale? That is absolutely is ridiculous. I tried to sit here and justify someone paying that much for a motor...hp/tq rating, millions of dollars and hours spent in development, reliability(?), etc...but I still can&#39;t come up with a logical conclusion to spend that kind of money (even if I had it) on a motor.

It is weird though...I can justify spending &#036;60k+ on the car, but not &#036;12.5k on the motor alone...

I could do some cool stuff with &#036;12.5K...it would involve strippers and a gerbil...j/k&#33;
