Anyone know if a 97 L31 computer will run a multi port injection such as a stealth ram or the like, on top of
the intake there are eight seperate injector pins and the wiring diagram shows it as firing eight seperate
times, I really want multiport but don't want to hack up the trucks electronics and everything has to work, not looking for a ls 1 swap this time around. thanx.

Yes it can. You might want to try the vortec marine manifold.

Thanx nitrous, I saw all the info on the marine swap on fullsize chevy.com those guys are pretty pumped on it, I figured it could be done but kind of needed to here it from some other people before I go rip up a perfectly good l31 truck. I think I'll go with the stealth ram or a single plane and throttle body for power potential though, thinking of some nitrous or twin turbos funds permitting of course, thanks again.

You should be able to get an adapter harness to run the injectors so you don't have to splice into the factory one.

Who would make such an adapter? S&P maybe? The less butchering the better.

I would think you can buy the injector harness form a marine dealer or GM. Check this link out and give GM a call. Vortec Marine Engine

Engines in, and runs with the factory computer, tuning required ofcourse. used the jet dst. Seems like it's gonna work pretty good. once everything is all set up, I plan on doing the 411 computer swap for a little more rpm potential, the motors good for it, sounds sweet.
