I am just wondering if anyone on here has ever done any type of motor swap in a 1983 s10? /i have a guy who wants me to try and put a 4.3 vortech motor into one. it has the 2.8 in it now with auto tranny. Is there any good s10 websites? Will a newer 4.3 and 4l60e even fit into one. would it bolt up to the auto that is currently in it? I know i'd need a wiring and computer also. just wondering if anyone has any ideas. thanks.

mys10.com. Thats what I was always on before I got the fullsize. Well never registered, but read it alot. There is a manual out there that basically gives you a complete layout of a v8 swap for an s10. I cant remember the name, but if you go on that website up there Im sure you could find something.

Just got rid of a prostreet S-10 w/383 stroker. Check out V8S10.org. Good info there and plenty of advice!
