Nice work Greg.
Gone, but not forgotten!

well, turbo went on tonight, hopefully for good. Crossover tube is in place so I can start building the downpipe from the turbo. Gotta get all the hard parts in place before I finish the wiring up. Downpipes are about as fun as wiring. There is definitely no shortage of things to do here.
With my dollar an hour pay I'll finally be able to afford the Corvette I always wanted.

That's downright nasty, isn't it.

i think it needs a billet grille insert and the intercooler needs painted flat black to make it a little less obvious.

Well Quik, you called it, the engine is a 2000 model Tahoe 5.3L. I finally hooked the PCM up to HPTuners and verified the VIN.
The turbo stuff is all done except for the cold side plumbing to and from the intercooler. Added an Autometer fuel pressure gauge under the hood just because we had it. Fuel system is complete minus a 6' long -8 hose I'm waiting on. Ordered new Camaro 02 sensors to work with the 2002 Camaro tune we're using. Also waiting on a 4" x 90 degree silicone elbow from the turbo to the filter, this is necessary since the radiator and electric fans are now in the way.
