You girls are sooo nice! You went from slinging poo at each other to skipping and holding hands!! How cute... J/K.

Anyway, after reading all of these posts, I am glad to see that 7sec03RAM is a decent fellow and that we are acting like gentlemen. Since he is an F-body guy, he does have street cred here --even though he drives a Doooodge. We all have good sides to our arguements, but it is good to see that we can overcome our weaknesses (driving Dodges) and be friends on here. Jamesray, are you reading?

I think it is good fun talking a little smack to each other, but just as long as we don't become flagrant a$$holes while doing it.

So, with that said...Dodge's suck balls!!! Hehe, J/k. If (for some God-awful reason) I didn't drive a GM, I would have to say that my next pick would have to be a Dodge. I am a Hemi fan, just as long as it isn't faster than my truck...And with my cam coming in Thursday, it won't be long until I put a few more behind me...

Welcome to our LS1 site 03RAM.

I hate to admit it but, I first got interested in hot rod trucks after driving a lightning. Well the hemi came out so I drove one. It was not that impressive. I tried to drive the SRT-10 but the Dumbass saleman would not even let me sit in it or crank it. Morons. The funniest part about that was I had the cash in the bank to have paid for 98% of the truck, had I really wanted it.
I waited and saw this crazy guy John Ulaszek write an article on the 4*4 he bought and supercharged.

http://www.gmhightechperformance.com/tech/...modified_truck/

After a few punches on the calculater I determined that the LS1 powered truck was the cheapest and best way to start. Basic truck could be had very reasonably and perf mods could be done to make it faster than the Lightning, and still cost less than a used lightning. My truck is close to the Srt-10 "not sure how close" but I have about 20k less in my truck than what it cost.

Long story short I am very happy with my truck and it has a date with road atlanta sometime this summer

Oh yeah welcome to the site most of us have been a little testy due to the recent posts by a guy that liked to piss people off. He drove a dodge. Don't worry about it. We won't hold that against you....... much.
99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.

Just as long as you don't get mad at JamesT. He types in CAPS everytime. He isn't yelling. That is just the way he types. I am glad you understand it is just text from some guy sitting behind a computer...
