    I never take the plugs out. I always remove the whole switch.

    You can also use an electric heat gun to soften the resin sealing the two halves.

    i used one off a 60e and jon (dbrods) fabbed it up for me, its pretty easy if you got the tools he does i almost had it working with a hammer and mine is bolted into the pan bolts i also had to drill an extra hole so it would have the right spacing.

    Looks like that is what I am going to do. I have the tools. Need to Save a buck anyway.

    Be VERY careful of the connectors!!!!! Like Greg said, a lighter helps out big time. Please do me a favor and go back and double check your connectors and the wire's integrity at the connector. Don't ask how I know.

    Just a fast up date. Still waiting on the trans guy to get my trans done. Wiring is done new tune is here Motor is ready just need a trans. Will be 4 weeks Monday. Driving me nuts. If anyone want a good 4.8 and the 4L60e I will make them a good deal on them.
