would you have any interest making a set of 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 long tube headers for an S10 with an LS1 swap?? There is alot od people wanting LT headers for there swap, but no body makes any, just the Sanderson shorties with 1.5 primary and 2.5 collector, which are just to small IMO. Im building a 96 S10 with a 408/T56 swap for a buffy of mine that you can use for mock up of the headers if needed.

It was right before he put the truck up for sale on Ebay. Billy may have posted them.

Look on the Hooker website for conversion headers. They used to be listed on there.

    Thanks Red.

HV6, The headers I'm making might fit the passenger side of the s-10. I remember some pics a guy had for an S-10 that were similar to mine. The drivers side might be a different story though due to the steering column.

    Update:

I finshed up the fitment today and have to make a few minor modifications to both the drivers side and passesnger sides. I want to make sure you can use 1/4" - 5/8" adapter plates without clearance issues. The headers will work like they are but I want 1/2" to 3/4" clearance around the tight areas. I'm also going to make the primaries 1/2" to 3/4" longer where the come out of the flange to give spark plugs and wires plenty of clearance to avoid heat issues and tight spaces for plug installation. I know it's going to increase the price a small amount but I think I'm going to put narrow and wide band 02 bungs in the headers for tuning purposes and ARP header studs for installation. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll be sending them in for the intial set to get completed so you guys can see the quality that's been going to be put into them.

I'll give an update later on to let you know where I stand on these.

    Thanks

Thanks, these aren't truck headers but they are made from the same components and materials as the conversion headers I'm fabbing including the flanges, coating etc......I thought you guys would like a tease. LOL This is as far as I can go with this pic but you get the idea now. BTW, these are for a C6 Z06 if anyone would like to purchase a pair.
