Let my nephew borrow my truck to move furniture. Ran it out of methanol and apparently the stock motor doesn't like 10 psi w/ no meth. She's knockin an tickin pretty bad. Check engine light is on and for some reason the trans temp light came on for a moment???. It blew out the oil return line for the turbo and oil was everywhere. What would cause this? I asssume we got detonation with no meth and the crankcase pressure blew it out. It also pushed out the oil dipstick WTF? Has anyone elso done anything this stupid?
On the other hand, I get to build my motor. Help me find a good forged top end 6.0 short block for a good price. This will be done as quick as I can get the parts. 600 hp here I come.
