    Nate, you may back me on this one. If I am going to listen to country, I'm going to listen to it right. None of this George, Allan, blah blah nonsense. Merle haggard, charly pride, David Allan Coe(don't personally care for some of his views), Waylon Jennings, and last but definitely not least: Willie JohnBrown Nelson.

    Now THAT'S country.

    Straight is country but is still too new and too polished. I hate country except for the real stuff.....and I'll go as far as to say Merle is even

    Ahh c'mon man, merle's alright. I don't listen to country either, it's all classic rock, punk, and a bit of rip-hop here.

    Yeah, I have that CD....and it's OK at best...some good tunes. Problem is I bought the next one. Too bad, his old man was the shiznit.

    It'd be Shooter Jennings, his 3rd one is supposed to be pretty good a lot more Waylonish, without actually doing straight cover tunes.

    I figured I was wrong. I just saw the name ford and thought of Tennessee Ernie Ford, he would probably be old enough to be the guy's granddad.
