yeah, its pretty depressing. i was just thinkin about all of this today and thought that it seems like these coporate asshole oil companies are actually infringing on our rights that because of them, we have to start changing our habits and lifestyles to put MORE money in their pockets! how dare they make it so that we should have to sell or park our pride and joys at their own whim. it should be illegal!! my question is....if our government is so mighty and powerful, and we do know that they could stop this bull$hit, why is nothing getting done? i cant believe that not 1 politician pays for their own gas!!!

im just waiting for truckers to go on strike all they have to do is pull over and give em the finger i used to do a lot of running around but here recently i just come home from work and sit and if i go somewhere ill take the wives car.

they are starting to use refined gas, and some places are using "boo boo" gas which is DIRT cheap and is a few octane less then what is rated. make sure when you go get gas from a station, never go to the place with a un marked truck dumping fuel in there lines. A driver told me about this a few days ago. he said 87 is going to be about 84 -85 octane and 89 will be about 87 and 93 will be about 89. and they are told to just dump the cheapest in first to fill it up the most then use the real stuff. which is going to be stupid

your right i got bad gas was having hellacious knock i cant detune my 93 tune being FI i dont care though i have two DDs a cavy and a gixxer that get great mileage

btw there is no proven shortage on oil demand is higher than production because they opec are limiting production some thing will give sooner or later

Oil and gas companies are going to continue to charge out the ass for gas because they know that someday (probably not in our time) the oil supply here will run out. They want to make as much money as possible now so that they will have something to live on when there is nothing left. OPEC controls all of it. Jason is right--as long as they keep the supply less than the demand, the prices will stay high. Something WILL have to give sooner or later...
