Cool deal guys, the guy at dacco said that the 7732 was better than the trailblazer stall and that it was a smaller than the stock converter. I found one for $293.00 @ TPS in Waco, TX. Sounds good to me and they guy said with the weight of my truck and my 3.73's i should get 3000+ stall.

I'll let you know, this is part of a pretty big upgrade for me. I am going with a 220/224.581/581 on 112LSA comp cam, with comps rods, springs and retainers, with a transgo hd2 shift kit and i am going to have Allen install the cam and tune me up.

    Should be a nice set-up

i was gonna get the TB unit for the price, but yank's doing a GP now so i went with theirs for a couple hundred more and got their 3000TT

Im just worried if I get the 2600 that i will want more in a month or so. I had a 2800 in my 98TA and I couldnt stand it after the first week cause it felt like stock. But im sure its different on a 5500 pound truck.

another reason i paid a little more was because the verter weighs less and is stronger. With the TB unit you are putting bascially a stock verter in that stalls to 2600. I just wanted to do mine right while the trans was dropped

Jaybo and bulldog5.3, Here is the Dacco number. 1-800-443-2226. Ask for the tech dept and they will guide you in the right direction for your application. Tell them the cam, gears and what you want to do with the vehicle. Good Luck!

Thanks man. I'll give them a call
