This is strange because it is within the storage limit of the website I'm able to have. Maybe too many images are trying to be displayed at once because even my previous post I referred to earlier in this string would not display:

http://forum.ls1truck.com/index.php?showtopic=3856 - also does not work and others even in this string were able to see it?

Will see what I can do, but doubt there's much. The code is right.

Looks like the price I pay for "free" - here's the report I'm given by my site:

"Sorry, you've exceeded your hourly data transfer limit. Your site is currently unavailable."

Give me an email address, I'll send them to you.

    Take care....

    That looks pretty damn good!

Now if only my TB wasn't in the way. The LS1 engine is pretty busy between the water pump pulley and where you put the a/c. Maybe another idler pulley will make it possible. I am going to try to do it so I'll have the stock a/c unit and not be out the $600.

Might I offer a suggestion.... PHOTOBUCKET!

Here's my stock (5.3) AC compressor mounted in stock location. Not a LOT of room, but should be enough:

It might be just the perspective of the image you posted, but how is the serpentine belt going to get around the radiator hose or inlet from the radiator? It doesn't look like there is enough room to make it to what appears to be the belt tensioner. I mean it looks like the shadow cast by the neck of the radiator inlet connection is just right above the belt.

Can you provide another shot ..... PHOTOBUCKET so we can see a different perspective?

    Thanks

ZR, the 88-98 frame rails aren't as expansive as the 87 and earlier versions. It also looks like a/c lines are going to be a bit tricky with your setup but will be possible. I haven't seen GMCWANTSLS1's setup but he's got the pre-OBS truck with the LS1 in it also. I suppose he has the a/c in the stock location. On our OBS trucks you gotta chop the hell out of the frame to put the stock a/c in location. I've front-ended my 92 enough times to know I didn't want to weaken it one bit.

Anyone know of a bracket to relocate the compressor to the top w/o buying a new compressor. I know Street & Perf. sells their compressor and bracket, but I was wanting to stay with the stock compressor.
5.3 going in a '92 rcsb by the way.
S & P sells the compressor, brackets, idler pullies, and belt for $600.00.
I would love to do it cheaper though.
Maybe some clarification would be good. From the way this string started out, the request was to keep the stock compressor. That is why I began posting from the beginning. Are we keeping the stock 1992 compressor or the stock 5.3 compressor? My understanding was this was to keep the 1992 compressor (which is a bit closer to the configuration bracket I had gone with).
