    so you mean that 1999-06 wont require the convertor for the crank sensor or different throttle body or any of the mess mentioned above?

    man, sorry all, i sure didnt mean to make anyone mad, was just confused because first was said any 99-06 is a direct swap, then someone chimed in saying i needed to check head numbers and the TB and crank sensor, so i didnt know, again, sorry, did not intend to make anyone mad.

    07 is when the stuff youre worried about started changing

    any 4.8 or 5.3 from 99-06 is directly interchangeable

    The thing is, all this information has been posted over and over and over and over again. Sometimes new ppl come on here and ask these types of questions when 30 seconds of searching will answer all your questions. In fact, there are special threads called stickies that are "stuck" to the top of forum sections for these exact situations. Dont get offended by some of our members, patience is not their best quality.
