If you look at the details of all the GPS units you'll find most of them show your driving speed. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Garmin-nuv...ation/15107763

The light blue wire with black stripe from the white box is the lead going to the speedo cluster. The wires going to the speed sensor on the transmission are purple/white and light green/black. The DRAC module is pretty simple(white box). The solid brown wire should have 12v switched. The black/white should be going to a good ground.

the one plug that has the red wire is the lead for the cruise control. It should be plugged into the white box. The two wires that came from the speedo sensor have to go into the white box, too, in order for it to generate the signal for the speedo or you have to cut the blue/black wire in the box and hook it to the speedo output wire from the LT1 PCM.

the red with white stripe wire is hooked up to the box. but like i was saying were the purpe and green wire come out of that box they have cut it and wired a red wire and yellow wire. their is a big black connector were the purple and green wire run and their is a big red wire that is cut. do you no what wire it is that comes from the computer and what wires i need to take from the box. i dont no what year it is but it has a mass air flow and it has a crank sensor and i thank they didnt use crank sensor until 96. i tried to hook a obd2 and get codes but it said no conection but i had it pluged up they have a ob2 conector run in the glove box idk what the deal is with that.

i went out their and checked it out some one ran that red and yellow wire to the speed sensor i got to tracking and i noticed that the wires had got burned so i cut them and put new wires in and still nothing they were burnt and touching each other. and i took it for a spin and still nothing so im just goin to get me some wire and run it from the sensor to the box. and if that dont fix it then im going to get a speed sensor and if that dont do it then i need to do what you said about runing the wire to the computer. were the wires were burnt together could it have messed up the speed sensor or the speedo computer?
