This guy is not a big corparate builder,He is very well known in the racing community as a cant beak it builder!,Has the record for the fastest stock internal\stockish 4l60 in a Fbody sprayed car pushing 700+ HP,He also does alot of painless wirings mule testing and alot of RandD work for them as well.This guy knows his stuff....My tune is exactley as it was with the last trans that went 100k plus miles(i am really curious about the OS being conflictrd like Tylers was) Allen...you sent me this OS to use the flex-fuel options and soon as I canwill go bsck to the older OS.could the OS be the problem?Tyler has had 6 Trannies fail in 8 months....all of them 3-4 clutch failures. We changed his OS wed nite and is doing ok so far.As well as Tylers truck I have changed nothing! ALL STOCK...EVERYTHING is stock....even has TM at stock levels.I am running mine the same way.I did get it hot the other day,around 230 for a few miles and the fluid looks like POO.Im installing my big Hayden cooler with a 10 inch fan just for it and should make a diff.

logged the trans pulls and is dropping pressure almost to ZERO at part throttle shift (line pressure PWM) rite before 2-3.Lockup works great and holds at 3/4 throttle.Ive heard of the case having internal cracks and bleeding off pressure internally to the point the clutches cant hold and then....you know!Im changing fluid after I install the 4.10s and finish the trans cooler and fan install sunday.Its shifting and holding 3rd with at least 35 percent pedal...anything less than that pressure drops and when 3rd comes up to shift...NOTHIN,NUETRAL,NOTTA!!!!pull it manually into 2nd give it a litle more throtttle and it goes rite into 3rd and a few seconds later...lockup.The damn thing holds so good! I took Tyler for a ride thursday made 2 7500 pulls and it never stops.RPMs are bad for the 60 I know but i didnt see pressure

well said kurt, i guess it only took me once, i blew up 1 60e then went to an 80e, doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result is insanity... hate to here it dale if this 60 i got layin around wasnt four wheel drive id say come get it buddy, GOAL: try to lose your shoe in his ass![]()

That's why I was so quick to go to the 80e in my 93. I cooked the 60e twice and kicked its weak self to the curb and went to find some muscle to hang with the engine. 100k+ 80e soon bit the dust and then 2002 80e shelled a low roller and cage and destroyed the center support. Its all back together for over a year now and holding up like a trooper even after multiple assaults with nitrous.![]()

Seeing a few 3-4 piston leaks lately...the bottom piston in the input housing. Builders don't always go down that far in the input housing so it may go un-fixed. The piston has a bonded seal and does not come in the GM master seal kit....not sure if it comes in the aftermarket kits or not.
Did you get Tyler's overwrite done? Is the stock VIN OS working OK?
