IFR single engine land. Little over 500 hours total

Owned a Tiger ........ loved that plane, very sporty snappy handling little plane with great vis.
wish I had never sold it.

Have a '67 turbo V-tail right now. Just collecting dust while I save for engine overhaul.
    uber-money pit

    Great trips:

Vegas over the grand canyon at 3,000 agl
Gastons grass strip on the White River - great trip
    Destin Fl.
Atlanta for the family all the time
    Austin for easy day trips
Junction Tx. - great guy will pick you up, take 3 miles up Llano River with canoe and pick you back up down river in town.

V-35TC ........... factory turbo, only made a few hundred of them.
tip tanks, 3 axis s-tec a/p with glide slope capture, old-GPS, Air Data computer, King stack, HSI

Run JeppView and other apps on my tablet pc mounted on center yoke.

25" MP at any altitude sure is nice

Got my IFR rating in the Tiger with no autopilot and no HSI
hardest thing I ever did. Tiger is not a very forgiving IFR platform.

Also learned VFR from day one at Houston Hobby Class B airport.
That was interesting. .......... and a lot of fun.

Plane lives at Hobby right now, but they are trying to push us avgas burners
    out to Ellington.

That's a great place to learn VFR. A lot of people are afraid to put VFR and Class B in the same sentence...I think it's a valuable skill. Having said that, I prefer IFR to VFR around Class Bs...just more organized. I've flown into Hooks many a time. Great place but the ramp is tiny!
