but also to everyone else's defense, those trucks could have been late 98 productions or 99 classics. either way it doesn't really matter, they are primarily in 99+ trucks

Kinda off topic but kinda on topic. Anyone know of someone who has used the 99-02 Denali or Escalade steering wheel that has the radio controls in a truck? I want to do it but I don't want to get the wheel and have to replace a bunch of other stuff.

    I'm wrong too sometimes.

    Speaking of...

I'm really sure there is no 01 Escalade and the 02 is a GMT800. I worked at a Cadillac dealer then so I hope I'm right. I think the 01 GMC C3 and the 02 Esky and Denali had the weirdo steering wheel buttons but so did uplevel Blazers (now I know why I was wrong saying the wheel in question was from a Blazer) up to 04. WARNING there is most likely BCM involvement in the the steering wheel controls.

There was an Escalade in 1999 and 2000. You could ONLY get them 4x4. Yeehaw!

    OK..so I got the 98-02 airbag

....you will notice that there is no rear steering wheel trim OR airbag retaining hardware...

Only the white plastic "holes" for the pegs on the airbag....My steering wheel is so stripped down(THANK YOU CRAIGSLIST) that the airbag simply falls off the steering wheel lol!!

Where to get the trim/airbag retainers??!?? Anyone have some laying around??

The steering column is quickly becoming the most expensive part of the interior swap!!! And its going stock!!
