Easy Ricky Bobby, not that rear end.

OK my stock '68 truck 12 bolt rear...

I can only get a Detroit Locker in a 3.73 & up case. I am not sure I want gears that tall for the turbo application.

For lower gears (numerically) I would have to resort to a limited slip of some sort (Eaton Truetrac, Eaton posi, Strange or Moroso). Or I could get a Powertrax and reuse the factory carrier. I am not sure that is the safe bet though. I can upgrade the axles for about $280/pair.

So, what do I do? Are those limited slips OK? I had run an Auburn unit years ago with no problems, but those don't come up as applicable for the truck 12 bolt.

BTW, I am not made of money, so I think full-tilt custom rear end is out of the picture.
