Good point V. All tuners are a little soft on a mail order tune vs. a live tune. Sure, the mail order is leaps and bounds better than a stock PCM, but there is still a lot more left on the tuning tables with a mail order. The tuner has to be careful about tuning certain things that may end up harming your engine/transmission. A mail order is the first step above a stock PCM. And a live tune is the best thing for ya...

I have a Wait 4 Me tune from Jesse in my 02 ECSB Z71 Silverado(5.3) and I have been happy with the changes. I must admit I haven't had anyone else tune to compare it to,BUT it was considerably different from stock and the price was very reasonable. Does anyone know where I can get a street tune in the Massachusetts/New Hampshire area, hopefully without needing to take out a second mortgage on my home?

Performance Dyno in Concord NH does dyno tunes, the guys name is Pete and his shop number is 603-226-FAST I believe its 450 for a custom tune on the dyno, not bad considering that kind of dyno time is usually ~100 dollars anyway.

i know that nelson is very awesome!!! but black bear performance is good too! justin is located in upper virginia and will not do a mail order tune without logging it first with a v1 or v2 scanner to checkout the "personality" of your truck and how it runs. he was the last one to do my truck. yes yes i had a nelson first with out the super charger but now with it i got black bear. and his tune run somewhere around 200 for a modified vehicle. pm me if you want his number. just to let you know that he is the real deal he is one of the top teachers at efi university!!

$200 for license? I thought you had HPTuners software. Individual vehicles are $100/2 credits. A few are 3 credits. You must be talking because of 2 or 3 bar and SD tuning license fees in addition to the vehicle fee.

the name "wait 4 me" would have to be one of the the worst choices possible in anything to do with shipping parts or racing.
